Return Policy

All artwork that has been shipped within the US can be returned within 7 days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price. We’re sorry, but return shipping charges cannot be refunded.

All artwork that has been shipped internationally can be returned within 3 days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price. The three day period begins when the first delivery attempt has been made by the carrier.

Please notify the Beholder or the Marketplace Artist by e-mail if you intend to send a piece back, so the piece can be expected. All pieces kept beyond 7 days (or 3 internationally) without notification will be considered a final sale.

The pieces are insured to their full value for any damage that may have occurred in shipping. If a piece has arrived in damaged condition, please contact The Beholder or the Marketplace Artist immediately.

You are required to ship artwork back with insurance for the full value of the artwork. At this time, the only carriers offering to insure original artwork are DHL and UPS. UPS shipment must be packed by an agent at a UPS Store location for this insurance to apply. Please purchase additional insurance from a mail service if you are shipping art via Fedex. If a piece has not been properly insured on its return and becomes lost or damaged, the purchase price will not be refunded.

For the sake of protection, goods should only be returned in the original packaging they were sent in, using all of the protective materials. Please take the utmost care in handling your art: any damage not caused by shipping will be considered a final sale.

Exchanges

Any piece returned to the Beholder in original condition is eligible for an exchange. Please contact the Beholder or the Marketplace artist and an arrangement can be made to choose another piece. If purchasing from a Marketplace Artist, only those works available by that artist are eligible for exchange.

Items Purchased from Marketplace Artists

As Beholder-art.com offers items for sale both by The Beholder and by Marketplace Artists, it is important in the returns process to know from whom the item was purchased.

Login and go to My Collection to view order details. Click on the order number to view the full details: The seller is listed at the top of your order information. If the item to be returned was not sold by The Beholder, you will need to contact the seller directly.
