About the Artist
May Yang is finishing her BFA at the Maryland Institute College of Art. She is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma and has done a number of shows in that area. Her pieces are typically mixed media on paper with acrylic and printmaking techniques being the primary medium. Thematically, these works deal with the idea of self and attempt to work through the confusion of cultural identity.
