Mr. Buckwalter pioneered the online guest curator, and for that, we are thankful. What's that you say? You haven't heard of Timothy's blog?

Fate, up against your will.

In starlit nights I saw you
So cruelly you kissed me
Your lips a magic world
Your sky all hung with jewels
The killing moon
Will come too soon

Swimming in the imagined surreal lyrics of Ian McCulloch, The Killing Moon creates a specifically melancholic and mysterious love song like no other. Whether performed by Echo and The Bunnymen or Nouvelle Vague, the sense of yearning and doomed love are awash in the most perfect pop tune. Conjuring up images of passion and pale moonlight, mixed with shades of midnight blue it is the tragedy and beauty of life at its most glorious. Like art.
